Our courses are tailored to each student’s needs, to help them to build their confidence while getting practical job-seeking skills to help them get a job or go on to further training.

Landscape Maintenance and Gardening

This course allows students to experience a range of jobs within the horticulture/grounds maintenance and vegetable production sectors. It allows them to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to access employment within the industry or to progress to further training/education.

Certification: QQI Level 4 Amenity Horticulture (4M1994).

Skills 4 Work

This flexible course will provide students with the opportunities to develop essential knowledge and competencies both in the centre and the work environment. This will enable students to progress to further training, education or directly to employment. The course facilitates employment relevant work placements to promote the student’s pathway to employment. With a QQI level 4 or 5 qualification students can progress to further education or college.

Skills 4 Life

The Skills 4 Life course is designed for young adults (age 16+) who want to build essential life skills while exploring exciting technologies. This flexible, strength-based programme offers a wide range of subjects, allowing you to develop valuable skills for both life and work in a fun, supportive environment.

Learn how to create with music production, photo editing, and video making, while also improving your social skills and career exploration. Whether you’re focusing on digital media skills or personal growth, the course is all about boosting your self-confidence and helping you thrive.

Stepping Out

Stepping Out aims to work with participants from the midlands region to prevent them from re-offending, to enhance their employment opportunities and to increase access to further education.

Certification: QQI Level 3 Employability Skills (3M0935), QQI Level 4 General Learning (4M2010).

Turas

Turas is a training course aimed at people who have experience of Mental Health issues. This person-centred and recovery-focused programme helps students build on their personal and social development and work on their confidence and well-being. The course promotes recovery through education and personal development. Full and part-time places available.

Modules on this course include: Health & Safety Awareness, Communications, Personal & Interpersonal Skills, Computer Skills, Creative Workshops, Healthy Lifestyles etc
