This service is provided in conjunction with Charleville Cottage respite service and is a community-based service provided to individuals who live at home and are supported to utilise community facilities through the outreach service. All referrals come through the HSE and an assessment of needs is carried out by the service to determine the capacity of the service to meet the individual needs.

RehabCare's community-based resource centres assist people with disabilities to achieve their full potential and a better quality of life.

Canal View’ opened in August 2018 on the main street of Tullamore, and service users currently attending are encouraged to access the resources of the town in a flexible and creative way using the New Directions philosophy. Community inclusion, independence, choice and rights are inherent elements of the multiplicity of supports provided. The main objectives of Canal View are to improve the quality of the lives of all the attendees, while increasing their opportunities for true inclusion within society.

Eiscir Meadows is situated on the outskirts of Tullamore town and is focused on promoting a person-centre approach by supporting each person to exercise choice while availing of the local resources within the community. A strong emphasis is placed on assisting all attendees to reach their full potential in an unstructured and enjoyable way using the New Directions philosophy while embracing a culture of positivity.

Tús Nua Resource Centre is a day service for adults with a mild or moderate intellectual disability. We are situated in the heart of Tullamore within walking distance to all the local amenities and good access to public transport. The resource centre follows the New Directions model of service delivery and all activities are tailored to each person's individual need. Activities offered come under the following categories: meaningful social roles, inclusion in local community, personal expression and creativity, vocational training and employment opportunities, health and well being, personal and social development, maximising independence, education and formal learning, transitions and progression, choices and plans, influencing service policy and practice, bridging programmes to vocational training.

Our resource centres provide people with access to a range of supports and activities on a one-to-one basis and in group settings. Activities vary from centre to centre and depending on the interests of the people who attend each service some examples are: art and crafts, drama, horticulture, leisure activities, cookery, independent living skills, sports, dancing, group excursions and many more.
