Blennerville Resource Centre

This resource centre provides a variety of programmes to service users which support independent living skills, community inclusion and supporting mental health. Programme choices depend on the interests of individuals. FETAC Courses and Educational training programmes are also offered. Those who avail of the service are referred through the HSE, are aged 18 and over, and present with mild to moderate intellectual disability. The aim of the service is to empower those who use it to reach their potential in a warm, welcoming environment. Staff support service users through person-centred planning. The service encourages and supports healthy lifestyles, advocacy, employment, volunteering and active citizenship.
