RehabCare's community-based resource centres assist people with disabilities to achieve their full potential and a better quality of life. RehabCare Wexford is a resource centre located on the outskirts of Wexford town offering a day service to adults primarily with learning disabilities, but also people with mental health challenges, acquired brain injury and physical and sensory disabilities. Each service user has their own individual, person-centred plan aimed at enhancing their independence and quality of life in line with New Directions. All programmes run in the centre stem from the service users' outcomes and therefore are wide and varied and include multi-sensory therapy, individual cookery programmes, money management, basic electronics, skin care and photography.
