‘Cuppa for Rehab’ unites communities nationwide in support of people with disabilities.

Dozens of RehabCare disability support services across the country will once again open their doors to the public on Friday 24th October, as part of ‘Cuppa for Rehab’.

Organised by the Rehab Group, Ireland’s largest disability charity, this national coffee morning, now in its third year, invites communities, workplaces, and friends to come together over a cup of coffee in support of children and adults with disabilities, empowering people to live more independent lives.

Louise Sherwin, Head of Fundraising with Rehab Group, says: “The nationwide ‘Cuppa for Rehab’ is about more than just coffee. It is an opportunity for people to connect, support each other, meet our service users and staff and learn more about the transformative work happening in RehabCare centres across Ireland. Every cuppa shared is a step towards building a more inclusive society”.

Visitors are warmly invited to drop into their nearest participating RehabCare centre, enjoy a coffee and see first-hand the impact of the charity’s life changing work.

In addition, Rehab Group is calling on community groups, individuals and local business to host their own coffee morning in support of services in their county.

Every cup shared and every donation made will directly benefit local services, helping to enhance person-centred programmes through initiatives such as technology upgrades, recreational and social inclusion activities, sports programmes and horticulture projects. These contributions will help the organisation build stronger, more inclusive communities across the country.

This year, Rehab Group is encouraging everyone to get involved – whether by hosting a coffee morning, attending a local event, or making a donation.
