Based on the Red Alert Wind Warning Storm for the entire country tomorrow, Friday January 24th, Rehab Group has made the following decisions for the safety and well-being of our employees, service users and students:
- All services that can close on Friday will do.
- In RehabCare this will include all Day services, and most respite services. In some cases it will not be possible to close respite services fully, so this will be dealt with on a service by service basis. Home Support Services will also be planned for on a case by case basis.
- All NLN centres will close and move to remote learning
- Rehab Enterprises sites will all close, and where people can work remotely, they should do so.
- For services that are essential and need to remain open, operational teams will put controls in place to ensure employees don’t need to travel during the red alert times in their areas. It is important that all employees “stay in place” for the duration of the red warning.
- All office-based employees should work from home.
Please take care and stay safe tomorrow, and heed all advice from Met Éireann. #StaySafe #StayIndoors #StormEowyn
