How to join a course.

There are no formal entry requirements to access one of our courses. You just need the will to succeed. Some courses do have an assessment period, this is to ensure that the course is suitable for you. Our courses are open to individuals aged 16 and above, welcoming learners of all ages. You will hold onto your current financial benefits.

1. 1. Once you’ve found a course, locate your nearest NLN centre. We have centres across Ireland, making it easy to find one close to you.

1. 1. You can contact the centre directly via phone or email for more information about the course or the application process.

Meet with an NLN Advisor:

• • Arrange a meeting with an NLN advisor who will guide you through the details of the course, discuss your goals, and help ensure that the programme is the right fit for your needs.

Complete the Application:

• • Fill out the application form provided by NLN, either online or in-person, and submit any required documentation.

Most NLN courses are funded by the Educational Training Boards (ETBs) or the Health Service Executive (HSE), and many participants are eligible to receive an allowance.

• Your NLN advisor will help you determine your eligibility for funding and assist with any financial aid applications if needed.
• Once your application is accepted, you’ll receive details about your course start date. You’ll begin your journey with NLN, where you’ll gain the skills, knowledge, and qualifications to achieve your goals.
