Delvin is a flexible mental health recovery programme for people who have experienced social isolation or with enduring mental illness with complex needs who require support over a longer timeframe in their efforts toward ongoing social inclusion in their local communities.
Where is Delvin based?
Based in our satellite centre in Balbriggan, Delvin provides participants with the opportunity to develop their social and independence skills to a level necessary to participate fully in their local communities. Participants will be supported to develop their social networks, to take a look at potential job options and explore options for change or expansion.
They are also supported to research local social and recreational activities available to them, so they can make informed choices to ensure they continue to thrive after the programme has ended.
By the end of the programme participants will have achieved a level of independence necessary to participate fully in their chosen community activities and to live lives of their choosing.
