Retail Skills
This comprehensive programme not only equips you with the essential skills for a successful retail career but also prioritises your personal growth and well-being. Gain confidence, enhance your social skills, and develop effective job-seeking strategies.
Real-world experience awaits you through our work placement opportunities, where you’ll apply your skills in a practical setting. Our dedicated support team will guide you in exploring your career options and creating a personalised progression plan to help you achieve your goals, whether it’s securing employment, pursuing further training, or advancing to higher education.

Fast Track to Employment
A flexible training course that enables students to gain practical skills through on the job experience with a host company in the skill area of their choice. The course is a combination of on-the-job and in-centre training. The Fast Track to Employment co-ordinator will support both the learner and the employer. The course supports students into the workplace through three phases.

Options/ Rehabilitative Training
The aim of the Options programme is the delivery of person-centred training that supports individuals to achieve a better quality of life. The key objectives are to empower participants to make positive changes in their lives so as to experience greater community inclusion. The programme defines a range of services that will support participants in developing greater levels of independence, individual life skills, social skills and basic work skills with the objective of enhancing the individual’s quality of life and general work capacity.
Certification: QQI Level 3 in Employability Skills 3M0395
Career Focus
The Career Focus Programme will help participants explore their career and further education options and give the opportunity to gain the QQI Level 3 qualification in Employability Skills. The experienced staff team at NLN will support and work with individuals to build on their self-confidence and focus on their wellbeing. This programme will also focus on developing work- related social skills, life skills, teamwork, time management, planning and goal setting.
