Our courses are tailored to each student’s needs, to help them to build their confidence while getting practical job-seeking skills to help them get a job or go on to further training.

Skills for Work

Skills for Work is a comprehensive training programme that combines classroom learning with on-the-job experience delivered over an 18 month period.  This is your chance to gain valuable skills both in the classroom and work environment and then progress on your career journey.
The programme covers a wider range of disciplines, from Information Technology and Customer Care to Work Experience and Career Planning.  No matter what your area of interest is, we have a training pathway that suits your career goals.

Certification: QQI Level 4 Employment Skills (4M0857).

Transition

This programme is designed to meet the needs of students with extra support needs. It enables students to sample a range of vocational options and develop the skills, knowledge, confidence and resources to access employment, further training/education or options in the wider community.

Certification: QQI Level 3 Employability Skills (3M0935).

Access

This training programme is designed to offer students an opportunity to explore personal, social and vocational skills and includes a high level of integration into the local community. Underpinning this programme is New Directions, a HSE person centred service for adults with disabilities. Modules on offer are delivered in a flexible manner and include activities and methods based on a cross modular approach.

Advance Programme

The Advance programme is a two year rehabilitative training programme funded by the Health Service Executive. The is an individualised person centered training to support the needs of high functioning Autistic individuals aged 18 years and over. This training is supported by highly experienced team to include Instructors, Rehabilitation Officer, Resource teacher and Psychologist.

Advance aims to provide the person with autism and their families with the tools to improve social skills and maximise the use of independent living skills while also supporting their individual progression paths. The training is underpinned by the new directions model which encompasses twelve pillars below and uses a blended delivery approach of in-centre and community based training.
