Our courses are tailored to each student’s needs, to help them to build their confidence while getting practical job-seeking skills to help them get a job or go on to further training.

Skills for Life
This programme is designed for students who would like the opportunity to make a new beginning, build their confidence and explore career opportunities. It provides students with an environment to achieve greater levels of personal development, to develop IT and business skills and to explore employment or further education opportunities.
Students are supported to move on to QQI Levels 4 & 5 courses locally or to further education or to training of their choice. The programme also aims to provide students with the opportunity to address personal effectiveness and social skills issues.
Certification: QQI Level 3 Employability Skills (3M0935).
Skills for Life
The Skills For Life Level 4 course has been created as a pre-PLC course to support students who may currently not have the confidence, skills or qualifications to engage with Further Education such as a PLC course or college. This course is suitable for people 17+ years of age who may have left school early or completed their Leaving Cert but never progressed into Further Education due to anxiety, mental health or a disability.

Retail & Barista Training
This is a retail course which includes barista and cash register training within the centre while also studying QQI Level 4 modules. Students will also work with their tutor in gaining work experience outside of the centre throughout the course.

Turas
The aim of the TURAS course is to provide students who have mental health difficulties and who experience a high level of social and community isolation with the opportunity to develop the confidence and key personal and social skills to improve the quality of their lives, make independent and informed choices regarding their lives and to explore recreational and social opportunities in their community.
Students are also supported to explore further community, training, educational and employment opportunities and are offered the opportunity to complete modules from the QQI Level 3 Employability Skills Major Award.

Ar Aghaidh Linn
A social exploration course designed for students who have had a set back in their lives as a result of physical/sensory disability. The course gives students the chance to explore different education, training and community opportunities open to them.
