Reception Skills

This is a flexible course that enables students to get practical skills with a host company in the retail industry. The course is a mix of on-the-job and in-centre training. The course co-ordinator will support both the student and employer.

Reception Skills in the workplace are gained through a combination of practical demonstration, instruction, supervised practice, etc. Students progress through the programme at a pace which is suited to their individual needs and abilities.

A course leading to a QQI Level 4 Major Award in Reception Skills called ‘Retail Sales’ is currently available at our Waterford Centre.
