Thurles Residential service provides a homely person-centred environment, supporting both service users and families on a full/part time basis in a home-from-home environment. Thurles Residential Services can accommodate two service users presenting with mild-to-moderate intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs. The service can accommodate two men/women between the ages of 18 and 65. To ensure consistent levels of support and care, the service will facilitate the service users in various aspects of their daily living as laid out in their support plans. These include but are not limited to: medication administration, social activities, community inclusion, spiritual supports and referral to HSE clinical supports as required e.g. psychology, liaison nurse, psychiatrist, social worker.
