Hospitality Inc Westport
National Learning Network (NLN) has commenced a new initiative to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities in the hospitality sector in Co Mayo.
The initiative, called; Hospitality Inc., is being rolled out in partnership with Mayo Sligo Leitrim Educational Training Board (MSLETB), Westport Chamber of Commerce, Destination Westport and the Irish Hotels Federation (Mayo Branch). Hospitality Inc. aims to support people with disabilities through training and securing employment with participating businesses in the industry.
It’s all about you. It’s your journey, with your personalised training plan and key instructors to support you every step of the way. Hospitality Inc. will help you achieve your dream job if you want to work in the hospitality industry. You will be part of a small group of students from various backgrounds and educational levels, including school leavers and mature students looking to retrain. Hospitality Inc. will provide training for General Hospitality Operatives, with work placement in hotels and restaurants, so that you can practice your new skills on the job, with unique support for each person in a safe and supportive environment.
National Learning Network specialises in working with people who need extra support with education and training, leading to their progression to employment, further & higher education and a better quality of life in their community.
Training will be provided at the Leeson Enterprise training room in Westport, with work experience provided in Westport.
