NLN and Covid-19

National Learning Network is committed to looking after the health, well-being and educational progress of all of our students.

We are taking a cautious and measured approach to plans for welcoming students back to our colleges and our priority is to make sure students and staff are as safe as possible at all times.

We are very much aware that our students are very eager to return to their colleges and some people have not adapted as well to the shift from on-site to remote learning.

The process to re-open our training centres is based on Government guidelines, taking into consideration the needs of each student. We are currently in the process of assessing every individual student’ needs, and identifying and developing learning plans to be delivered both on and off-site based on the needs of each student in order to minimise  risks as far as possible.

As soon as these assessments are completed, we will then start to welcome back our students on a phased basis adhering to all public health guidelines from August onward.

We hope to be in a position to open all of our training centres at reduced onsite capacity from August 31st in line with our funder’s direction.  We will be in contact with our students directly to confirm dates and will continue to support and engage with them remotely as we have done since the beginning of the pandemic.

We all have our part to play in keeping Covid-19 infection rates as low as possible and to slow the transmission of the virus from person to person.  Thank you for your continued patience and support and we look forward to welcoming back our students from August onwards
